Job Summary

The Special Needs Educator plays a critical role in delivering customized educational programs that cater to the unique learning needs of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IEP Development and Implementation

  2. Develop differentiated lesson plans to cater to various learning styles and abilities.

Progress Monitoring and Assessment
  1. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and document learning outcomes.
  2. Maintain detailed records of each student's academic performance, key observations, and behavioral progress.
  3. Provide data-driven insights to refine student learning plans.
Classroom Management and Safety
  1. Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment promoting active learning.

Daily Care and Support
  1. Assist students with personal care tasks as needed while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Professional Development and Engagement
  1. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in special education.

  3. Maintain strong partnerships with parents by providing resources and strategies for supporting their child's learning at home.
Shift Duties and Preparation
