Salary
The salary for this role is estimated at $4200 - $5200 per month, depending on experience.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Fire Protection Engineer to oversee the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fire protection design, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and wet/dry riser systems. They should also be able to review and align fire protection design drawings with design specifications and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise subcontractors' work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
- Review and align fire protection design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
- Manage and execute projects as per the schedule.
- Plan and lead testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in water mist systems and/or foam systems is an added advantage.
