Job Title: HSEQ Leader

Overview
The HSEQ Leader will be responsible for leading the implementation of a Safety Management System and overseeing the health, safety, environment, and quality objectives for a fleet. This role requires a strong background in maritime operations and experience in implementing enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Safety Management System that meets international standards.
  • Oversee the monitoring and analysis of health, safety, environment, and quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the fleet.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and develop strategies to improve fleet performance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to HSEQ.
  • Assist with certification processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as maritime studies, business administration, or environmental science.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the maritime industry, preferably in a ship management company.
  • Strong knowledge of ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, TMSA, SIRE, and ISO standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful projects and achieving desired outcomes.
