Job Title: Corporate Attorney

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced corporate attorney to lead our legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8-12 years of experience in either a law firm or as a corporate counsel, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, knowledge of Singaporean regulations, and litigation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of Singaporean corporate law and various applicable laws, regulations, and company rules.
  • Lead the legal assistance on business development activities, including establishment of new joint ventures, divestments, acquisitions of shares or assets.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, develop and/or update relevant templates and standard Terms & Conditions for all businesses in Singapore.
  • Collaborate with the business, finance, and tax teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws on corporate secretarial matters.

Skills and qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 8-12 years of experience in either a law firm or as a corporate counsel.
  • Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and Singaporean regulations.
  • Strong litigation skills.
