Job Opportunity: IP Counsel
Innovative Lighting Solutions Company seeks a skilled Intellectual Property Counsel to lead complex international projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing patent portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Discover and secure new technical developments while managing existing IP holdings.
  • Partner with external experts to prepare and advance patent applications through to approval.
  • Deliver assessments on third-party claims, conduct freedom-to-operate reviews, and shape IP direction.
  • Explore opportunities to generate value from existing IP assets.
  • Draft and evaluate agreements related to technology collaborations and licensing.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Commonwealth Law Patent Attorney with a postgraduate degree in engineering or science.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as LED systems, semiconductor processes, optics, electronics, and thermal management is advantageous.
  • Business-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for cross-functional and external engagement.
