As a key member of the Capital Asset Management team at Changi Airport, you will be responsible for fixed asset accounting and reporting. This includes timely and accurate capitalisation of assets, and disposal of fixed assets. You will also help to identify qualifying or non-qualifying assets for tax purposes to maximise capital allowances.
Key Responsibilities:- Capital asset accounting and reporting
- Fixed asset capitalisation and disposal
- Qualifying and non-qualifying asset identification for tax purposes
- Month/year-end closing and reporting schedules
- Capital expenditure (CAPEX) accruals and sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation
- Annual fixed asset sighting
- Supporting major development projects for CAPEX matters
- Reviewing contracts for cost allocation for asset capitalisation
- Assisting managers on multi-year depreciation projections
- Participating in annual CAPEX budgeting exercise
- Automation and process-improvement projects
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Candidates with no prior experience welcome to apply
- Analytical, detail-oriented, resourceful, and independent
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on knowledge in SAP and low-code/business analytics tools preferred
This is a 3-year contract position with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent role, subject to individual performance and availability at the end of the contract.
