About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify therapy needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide individual and group interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborative exploration techniques.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, adhering to professional guidelines and organizational requirements.
  • Participate in developing protocols and clinical guidelines to enhance services, in collaboration with the Lead Allied Professional/Principal Therapist.
  • Maintain and monitor client records, ensuring adherence to organizational and professional standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or post-graduate qualification in occupational therapy from a recognized institution, with eligibility for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Previous experience in a special education setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting clients and equipment.
