About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance and Risk Management professional to fill the role of CRIU Manager. This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the effective management of compliance and risk-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Governance and Case Escalation: Escalate complex cases to senior management and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on the status of these cases.
  • Regulator and Internal Audit/Compliance Testing Engagement: Participate in regulatory exams, audits, and compliance testing reviews, ensuring that our organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Hiring and On-boarding: Work with HR to identify and recruit top talent, ensuring that our team is equipped with the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of experience in Compliance and Risk Management
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification required
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including local, US, and international laws
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
