Automation Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled automation engineer to join our team at United Microelectronics Corporation Singapore Branch.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Management and excellent communication skills.

  • Manage and optimize AMHS performance metrics, Sorter and FOUP systems.
  • Lead daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AMHS and vendor liaison.
  • Create new functions or tune systems to optimize EQ/system performance.
  • Collaborate with IT, manufacturing, EQ/Process owner, and vendors to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating project management on cost, quality, scope, and schedule to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Candidates with prior experience in basic IT infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (mainly Windows-based IPCs) are preferred.
