Job Overview:
As a seasoned software security engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet pre-defined functional and user requirements while preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement creative security solutions, leveraging your technical expertise to think beyond conventional approaches and build innovative solutions.
  • Write secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language, addressing basic code quality issues and adhering to best practices.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, utilizing these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Analyze metric visualizations for continuous improvement of software applications and their monitoring.
  • Apply automation techniques to reduce manual toil in the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and team members to resolve complex problems.
  • Understand service level indicators and utilize service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers.
  • Support the adoption of engineering best practices within your team to achieve resiliency.
  • Participate in continuity-related awareness, training, and educational activities, and exercises.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a scalable environment.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of industry-wide technology trends, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
