Cyber Security Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating threats and assessing their impact on systems and software.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be creative and innovative, and possess a passion for the field of Infocomm security. They will also have excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis of operating system architectures and identify potential vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate threats and assess their impact on systems and software
  • Conduct research to gain in-depth understanding of operating system architectures and identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Perform information security assessments through vulnerability research, code audit, black box testing, reverse engineering, proof-of-concept simulations, and malware analysis
  • Discover and remediate threats to end-point systems, network elements, and services
  • Research and engineer novel solutions to cyber security threats on emerging technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Mathematics
  • Strong interest and passion for the field of Infocomm security
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Creative, innovative, self-motivated, and independent
  • Knowledge in C programming and Assembly is an added advantage
