Project Engineer for Automatic Irrigation Systems

Design, implement and manage automatic irrigation systems for diverse projects, ensuring efficient water use and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create sustainable irrigation system designs for various landscapes and agricultural applications.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate plumbing and irrigation systems into project designs.
  • Oversee execution of automatic irrigation projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to monitor progress and address challenges.
  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of irrigation installations to identify discrepancies or non-compliance issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing automatic irrigation system projects.
  • Strong knowledge of codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with irrigation system components, water distribution, and automated control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
