Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Provide expert drug therapy advice to patients and healthcare professionals on side effects, interactions, and chronic disease management.
  • Resolve prescription ambiguities, identify drug-related problems, and recommend optimal treatments.
  • Offer health promotion counseling on minor ailments and self-care, and referrals when needed.

 

Pharmacy Operations & Inventory Management
  • Oversee medication storage, security, and disposal, including controlled substances.
  • Manage inventory key performance indicators such as stock turnover, expiry checks, cold chain compliance, and loss prevention.
  • Lead audits of pharmacy stocks, E-kits, and treatment rooms.

 

Leadership & Compliance
  • Train and supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and assistants.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations, standard operating procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements, sales performance, and operational profitability.

 

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Pharmacy + SCPC registration.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in a clinical/hospital/polyclinic setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and patient counseling expertise.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
