Job Summary

The Senior Instrumentation Systems Specialist (FPSO) will oversee the design, integration, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems on Floating Production Storage and Offloading units. This role involves leading a team of instrumentation engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of instrumentation engineering scopes for FPSO projects, including conceptual design, FEED, detailed engineering, and construction support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality instrumentation solutions for FPSO projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in offshore environments.
  • Oversee the selection, procurement, and installation of field instruments, valves, transmitters, and related hardware.
  • Evaluate and ensure the integration of instrumentation systems with other disciplines to achieve seamless operation.
  • Manage the development and review of instrumentation specifications, datasheets, and material requisitions in accordance with project requirements.
  • Ensure all instrumentation complies with relevant codes, standards (e.g., IEC, ISA), and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical leadership during commissioning, start-up, and operation of FPSO systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with a focus on offshore oil and gas projects, including FPSOs.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore instrumentation systems, including control systems, ESD, and F&G systems.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, ISA, and other relevant offshore regulations.
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing instrumentation scopes for large-scale projects.
  • Experience in HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Estimated Salary: SGD $120,000 - SGD $180,000 per annum
