We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our client's team in Singapore. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring all financial reporting is in accordance with relevant standards, providing oversight of key finance controls, and liaising with auditors.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a prestigious company, driving financial excellence and contributing to their growth. You will also play a critical role in maintaining service relationships with external banking providers, corporate secretarial, tax and other advisers.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, a qualified accountant qualification, and sound working knowledge of insurance accounting and RBC 2 reporting.

  • Oversee financial reporting for an international branch
  • Provide business support and oversight of key finance controls
  • Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with relevant standards
  • Provide oversight of key finance controls including payment processing and transfers
  • Review and oversee quarterly and annual regulatory and tax-related returns
  • Produce monthly and quarterly Management Information reports
  • Complete all other monthly, quarterly, and annual timetable actions
  • Act as local liaison for auditors
  • Update mandates, controls and documentation in line with MAS requirements
  • Oversee service relationships with external banking providers, corporate secretarial, tax and other advisers

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
