Job Title: Kitchen Professional

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Professional to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals to order, using a variety of ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Work under the supervision of the Head Chef to ensure that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform inventory and supply ordering duties, as well as assist in kitchen preparation to support the Head Chef.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and its equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Purchase and verify the quality and quantity of food and kitchen supplies required for daily activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably with a high-volume restaurant or catering company.
  • Excellent culinary skills, including cooking, presentation, and plating.
  • A strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including health and safety protocols and inventory management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
