Job Title: Patient Care Ambassador
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Care Ambassador. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to patients throughout their hospital journey.
As a Patient Care Ambassador, you will be working closely with various departments to ensure seamless patient transfers and deliveries of medical records, specimens, and other essential items. Your strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders will be invaluable in anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in productivity-related initiatives and contribute to the development of junior or new team members (for Senior position).
Key Responsibilities- Perform portering services for patients to and from wards, specialist clinics, departments, and external centres in a safe and professional manner.
- Deliver and collect medical/patient records, specimens, medications, or any other items within a hospital environment.
- Comply with quality service, safety, and health requirements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and anticipate their needs.
- Implement productivity-related initiatives.
- Provide coaching and supervision of junior or new team members (for Senior position).
- Minimum 'O' Levels / ITE Cert.
- Day and night shifts available.
- Basic IT knowledge required to handle e-systems, computers, and smartphones.
- Able to handle difficult customers.
- Candidates with prior similar experience will be considered for the Senior Patient Transfer Porter position.
