Our IT support group is seeking an experienced Credit Control Executive to minimize financial risk by investigating and evaluating customer creditworthiness. The successful candidate will research and resolve billing disputes, recommend and/or implement credit extensions, revocations or collections referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and verify customer credit data to establish or update lines of credit.
Assess and approve credit limits based on customer creditworthiness.
Investigate and resolve customer invoice disputes to facilitate payment from or issuance of credit to the customer.
Review customer accounts for aging of unpaid balances and pending orders, solicit payments on overdue accounts, place delinquent accounts on 'hold' status until payment arrangements are secured.
Determine payment plans/schedules and follow up on payment arrangements.Recommend transfer of outstanding customer accounts to collection agencies as necessary.
Maintain relationships with outside credit and/or collection agencies.
Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy files associated with delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of related experience in a similar role.
Education and Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
