Teaching Role

We are seeking a dedicated English teacher to join our team. This role involves teaching children and adults whose first language is not English, with a primary focus on learners aged 4–6.

This position requires delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, contributing to curriculum development, and maintaining strong relationships with parents.

  1. Teach engaging lessons to children (primarily aged 3 to 9) in 1-to-1 and small group formats (max. 6 students).
  2. Contribute to curriculum development and resource improvement.
  3. Monitor each student's learning progress and source or adapt supplementary materials to address learning needs, while following the curriculum framework and progression guidelines.
  4. Coordinate with and support part-time teachers by guiding them on lesson planning, monitoring their students' progress, and ensuring consistent teaching quality.
  5. Conduct assessments for new students and provide parent consultations.
  6. Build strong, trusting relationships with students and parents to support learning and retention.

Requirements

  • Accurate pronunciation for spoken English with a universally recognisable accent.
  • Diploma holders and fresh graduates with a strong passion for teaching are also welcome to apply; training will be provided.
  • Experience in teaching preschool, lower primary school or EFL children a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic conversational Chinese to foster strong connections and actively engage with parents in supporting their child's learning journey.
  • Able to work well independently, showing initiative and taking responsibility for driving tasks forward.
  • Personable and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for working with young children and building meaningful connections.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time role with a 40 hour work week.
