The Senior Radiographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations independently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring patient safety and well-being during radiological examinations.
  • Selecting and executing proper radiographic techniques in accordance with professional guidelines.
  • Maintaining the proper functioning of radiological equipment and accessories.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Imaging, Diagnostic Radiography, or a related field.
  • Ability to perform X-rays, including DEXA Scans and Mammography, is essential.
  • Ultrasound and CT/MRI scan skills are highly valued but not required.
  • Registration with the National Environmental Agency (NEA) as a radiation worker is mandatory.
  • Registration with the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) is also necessary.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in radiography is preferred but not necessary.
