Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned utilities expert to provide leadership and oversight for the maintenance and operation of utilities systems. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, such as cGMP and EHS.

  • Coordinate the upkeep and operation of various utility systems, including HVAC, chiller, boiler, air compressor, nitrogen, WFI, and RODI.
  • Collaborate with the validation team to complete qualification and re-qualification of facilities and utilities systems.
  • Develop and draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance plans for facilities and utilities systems.
  • Manage changes and deviations related to utilities and facilities systems.
  • Work closely with internal and external audit teams.
  • Lead implementation of minor capital expenditure initiatives for infrastructure and building systems.
  • Coordinate shutdown plans and execution of building services and amenities.
  • Review as-built drawings, engineering technical data, and performance data for building infrastructure and utility systems.
  • Support third-party vendors performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and other maintenance activities.
  • Ensure completion of routine maintenance works as scheduled, adhering to engineering standards and safety procedures.
  • Accurately document all GMP-related maintenance activities and process them in compliance with data integrity requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University degree in an engineering field.
Experience
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in maintenance of utilities and facilities systems, with a focus on validation and GMP issues.
  • Working experience with Building Management Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems.
  • Understanding of electrical standards and local regulations, as well as general electrical safety methodologies.
Competencies
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, organize, prioritize, and coordinate project activity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a good knowledge of different root cause analysis tools.
