**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead our firmware development efforts. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging embedded firmware and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug embedded firmware and applications
  • Provide support for customers' requests/issues relating to firmware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure firmware aligns with product requirements and specifications
  • Identify and resolve firmware-related issues and bugs
  • Participate in the implementation of firmware updates and improvements
  • Lead/mentor junior engineers for technical-related aspects or issues
  • Collaborate with global teams for specification, architecture, and technical integration alignment
  • Document firmware development processes and best practices

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years and above of proven experience in firmware development, preferably for embedded systems or printing devices
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with real-time operating systems
  • Solid understanding of digital electronics, microcontrollers, and firmware architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency in Linux system programming and/or system is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or mentoring junior team members is a significant advantage
