Inventory Control and Procurement Specialist

Manage inventory levels, procure goods, and coordinate with vendors in a fast-paced environment. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock, monitor inventory levels, update records, source materials, process purchase orders, track deliveries, and prepare outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage inventory levels, including receipt, inspection, and organization of incoming stock
  2. Monitor inventory levels, update records, and identify areas for improvement
  3. Source materials, compare prices, and process purchase orders
  4. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
  5. Track and verify deliveries against orders
  6. Prepare and dispatch outgoing shipments to various locations or countries
  7. Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly stocktaking
  8. Record and analyze monthly inventory status
  9. Ensure accurate spare parts scheduling and control
  10. Monitor purchase expenses and provisions
  11. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and implementing procurement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels
  • Independent, resourceful, and proactive with a positive attitude
