Pathlight School, a pioneering institution in Singapore, offers a unique blend of mainstream national curriculum and life readiness skills for students on the autism spectrum. We are expanding our team and invite dedicated professionals to join us as Vocational Teachers in the Math and Daily Living Skills department.

As a not-for-profit charity, Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) is committed to serving children and adults on the autism spectrum. Our mission is to empower these individuals to lead meaningful and independent lives in society. We offer a range of services, including Pathlight School, The Art Faculty, and Professor Brawn.

Your Impact and Contribution:

Quality Educational Outcomes and Holistic Student Development

• Design and deliver engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum improvement, and enhance teaching and learning within the school
• Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide accurate feedback, and implement suitable instructional supports to close gaps

Fruitful Collaborative Relationships and Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders to develop data-based, student-centered IEP/ITP processes, support students in achieving IEP/ITP goals, and promote positive post-school outcomes
• Co-lead or lead CCAs, school-wide initiatives, and events, including improvement and innovation processes, bridging programs, and committees

Requirements

Your must-haves:

• Passion for helping special needs students maximize their talents and potential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical-thinking and creativity to develop learning strategies
• Good instructional skills to explain concepts clearly
• Selected candidates will be required to attend and complete certification training
