We are seeking a senior therapist to spearhead our mental health service.

Job Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs related to the division.
  • They will oversee the delivery of therapy services, ensuring they meet required standards.
  • In addition, they will develop strategies for the growth and development of these services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mental health assessment and intervention for clients
  • Documentation of all case-related records

Technical Competencies:

  • Prior experience in working with vulnerable populations and managing trauma-related cases
  • Good knowledge and experience with providing therapy interventions in individual and group settings
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in mental health services or similar settings
  • Registered therapist with a recognized professional body (e.g. APA, NASW)
  • Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to mental health practitioners and therapists

This role requires a senior therapist to mentor junior staff, participate in outreach efforts, and lead the Mental Health Service. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and strategic support as needed.
