About Our Property Management Role

Job Description

The Property Officer will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management and upkeep of properties. This involves ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely in accordance with design specifications and intent. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Monitor and oversee the performance of property-related systems to guarantee efficient and safe operation.
  • Supervise the execution of Preventive Maintenance Plans to prevent breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Procure building parts for repairs and replacement, manage vendors, and administer purchase orders.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure contractors complete work within required timelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Review and recommend cost-saving measures to reduce water and electricity consumption or increase durability of property systems.
  • Assist in calling tenders and quotes, OH&S issues, root cause investigation, and resolution of operational issues, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Contribute to developing and fulfilling asset strategies by creating property plans.
  • Work with the team to realize client savings targets.
  • Deliver exceptional quality of service to clients, as reflected in client feedback.
