Key Transaction Specialist

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing comprehensive support to cross-functional teams.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive business growth.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing transaction reviews for existing clients.
  • Communicate with clients regarding transaction requests and account maintenance.
  • Secure approvals for deviations from standard documentation.
  • Manage transaction financing documentation processes.
  • Coordinate operational requirements between clients, financiers, and investors.
  • Collaborate with clients and third parties to ensure compliance with financing terms.
  • Track repayments, fee income, and interest collections.
  • Handle collateral release or security discharge upon loan redemption.
  • Monitor submission of covenants and conditions (if applicable).
  • Maintain and safeguard transaction agreements and related documents.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure timely repayments.
  • Assist in restructuring distressed transactions.
  • Other ad-hoc activities assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferably from the business/finance/accounts discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years in commercial banking and/or Small & Medium Enterprise financing.
  • Experience in transaction/documentation with good report writing skills.
  • Experience in communication with external parties (i.e. lawyers, regulatory bodies and service providers).
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates.
