As a Vascular Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping to diagnose and monitor vascular diseases using cutting-edge ultrasound & non-invasive tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finger/ankle/toe brachial pressure index and exercise ABI tests are performed to assess blood flow and identify potential issues.
  • Arterial and venous ultrasound studies are conducted on upper & lower limbs, carotid arteries, abdominal aorta, visceral arteries to evaluate blood vessel health.
  • Pre- and post-operative vascular assessments are completed for patients undergoing procedures such as arteriovenous fistula, bypass surgery, and stent follow-up.

You will also be responsible for performing varicose veins and venous reflux studies, specialized studies for vascular compression syndromes, transcutaneous oxygen pressure (TCPO2) studies, and intraoperative vessel scanning for complex cases.

The examination findings are compiled to provide preliminary impressions for physicians, who rely on your expertise to inform their diagnoses and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • A degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Nursing, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences is required.
  • No prior experience? No problem - 2 years of paid on-the-job training are provided.
  • Willingness to obtain ARDMS RVT certification after training is highly valued.
  • A positive attitude, proactivity, and eagerness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role.
