We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Activate Interactive Pte Ltd.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in conventional testing and 2-3 years' experience in automation testing scripting for web-portals and mobile applications. Experience working in Agile Scrum projects and proficiency in programming languages including Java and TypeScript is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies and test plans to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Design test cases and execute tests to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Conduct various tests such as Manual/Automated/Functional/Exploratory Testing/Cross-Platform Testing for iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
  • Conduct system integration tests with external systems to ensure seamless interactions.
  • Develop and conduct performance tests to optimize software performance.
  • Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) to ensure software meets customer requirements.
  • Report defects and participate in defect triage sessions to prioritize fixes.
  • Analyse test results and prepare detailed test reports to inform development teams.
  • Implement and maintain the testing environment, testing framework, test plan, regression test suites, and test cases in accordance with changing requirements.
  • Maintain requirement traceability matrix to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Support the integration of test scripts with the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline.
  • Assist in driving product quality and Quality Assurance practices across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in conventional testing.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in automation testing scripting for web-portals and mobile applications.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum projects.
  • Experience in developing automation testing scripts for mobile (Appium) and web (Selenium).
  • Proficient in programming languages including Java and TypeScript.
  • Experienced with test automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, and Rest Assured.
  • Skilled in using performance testing tools such as Gatling.
  • Knowledge of Secure Hybrid Integration Pipeline (SHIP) and Hive Agile Testing Solutions (HATS) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in software version control systems, code review workflows, and CICD is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional, Certified Software Quality Analyst, and/or CREST certification are advantageous.
