Advanced Threat Detection Specialist

Job Overview:
- This role is a proactive and strategic Analyst responsible for identifying and addressing policy-violative content and users. The Analyst will work closely with multiple teams to develop technical detection strategies for Livestream Feature.
About the Team:
- The Trust & Safety team builds a safe environment for users to discover and create on our content platform.
Responsibilities:
- Mitigate ongoing risks by developing and implementing tactical strategies and methods to detect and enforce risky content at scale across entities, leveraging SQL, Python, and machine learning.
- Investigate risky Livestreams and understand the abuse landscape; uncover key insights towards drivers/incentives of abuse, methods to acquire content, gaps in enforcement, etc.
- Provide rapid incident response for risks during escalations, operating with minimal guidance; analyze and draw conclusions on root-causes and define and implement mitigation steps.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in content policy and/or anti-abuse operations at scale.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
