Upholstery and Canvas Technician

We are seeking a skilled Upholstery and/or Canvas Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the marine, automotive or furniture industry working with upholstery, canvas, cushions, covers, enclosures, awnings, sewing, etc.

About the Role
  • Perform all necessary operations of running a sewing machine, creating various forms of marine upholstery.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble and disassemble projects as needed.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding service options and provide recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to create and problem solve.
Requirements
  • Ability to take direction from a master craftsman and apply knowledge to experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
