Senior Supply Chain Acquisition Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to lead the acquisition of raw materials, parts, and supplies for production operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards.
- Evaluate requisitions and engineering change requests to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, pricing information, and purchasing documentation in line with industry standards.
- Monitor supply chain issues and work with manufacturing to resolve material shortages.
- Liaise with QA, Engineering, suppliers, and subcontractors to address quality or technical issues.
- Support ad hoc customer requests for units in Work-In-Progress (WIP).
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Marine Engineering, or related field - at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Professional purchasing management certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MRP/SAP systems is required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills.
