Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts and PowerShell scripts for automation and system management.
  • Configure and manage web servers, such as Apache and Nginx, and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct system hardening and apply patches to enhance security and performance.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement infrastructure improvements and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Expertise in Linux system administration, including shell scripting, Ansible, Apache/Nginx, and security best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows system administration, including AD, GPOs, PowerShell scripting, WSUS, IIS, and system security.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve OS-related issues across multiple platforms independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), or equivalent.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with network security practices and firewall management.
