Job Title

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Mandarin language teacher to join our preschool team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive Mandarin curriculum for young children aged 18 months to 6 years old.
  • Create engaging learning activities such as storytelling, music, and hands-on projects that foster a love for the Chinese language.
  • Maintain a supportive classroom environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves in Mandarin.
  • Collaborate with English-speaking teachers to deliver a holistic bilingual learning experience.
  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Assess and document each child's development, contributing to their individual learning journey.
Requirements:
  • Valid ECDA L2 certification in Early Childhood Care & Education or equivalent.
  • Passion for education and Mandarin language and culture.
  • Nurturing and empathetic approach to creating a safe and supportive environment for every child.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
