Electrical Maintenance Professional

This role requires a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a proven track record of maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing E&I equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring all necessary procedures, labour & equipment, spare parts and material requirements are met.
  • Oversee daily, periodical and shutdown maintenance works, ensuring they are carried out safely, efficiently and within budget.
  • Conduct engineering studies on E&I works in modifications, revamping or upgrading of plant facilities to reduce plant downtime.
  • Investigate plant problems, evaluate findings and recommend countermeasures or propose new ideas to enhance reliability of E&I systems and equipment.
  • Manage and maintain proper maintenance records & reports in accordance with industrial and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper stock levels of spare parts inventory.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and contractors to ensure safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Instrumentation Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in E&I maintenance or engineering.
  • Diploma holders with more years of experience will be considered.
  • Candidates with working experience in chemicals or petrochemical environments will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PLC or DCS is preferred.
  • Self-driven, independent and resourceful individuals with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work overtime whenever required.
  • Willing to work on Jurong Island.
