Global Investment Leader

The Global Investment Leader is responsible for overseeing the investment portfolios of a multinational organization. This role involves managing multi-asset class investments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement investment strategies, and monitoring market trends to inform investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor investment mandates outsourced to different investment managers to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
- Develop and review ALM-led investment strategy design to align with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and interpret macroeconomic and market trends to provide regular updates and insights to support investment strategies.
- Drive investment decision-making to achieve optimal asset allocation, diversification, and risk-return performance analysis.
- Contribute to competitor analysis through surveillance of industry trends and market information.
- Recommend and implement changes to investment guidelines and policies as necessary.
- Lead cross-functional teams for investment initiatives and collaborate with business unit functional areas to provide integrated investment support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of investment experience in the insurance or institutional asset management industry.
- Experience in multi-asset class investments and active involvement in asset and liability management.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven team player in an MNC setting and university degree in a quantitative discipline.
- CFA designation preferred.
