Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative digital franchises, series, and storytelling concepts that optimize for different platforms.
  • Manage all aspects of the production process, including guest booking, location scouting, and scriptwriting.
  • Communicate editorial vision and logistical updates to the team and stakeholders.
  • Lead shoots on location, providing clear direction to guests, on-camera reporters, and camera operators.
  • Work closely with TV features colleagues to adapt television content for digital platforms.
  • Write compelling scripts, edit video, and produce promos to deadline.
  • Liaise with social media producers to optimize social media reach and track performance metrics.
  • Balance multiple demands, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with peers and senior managers.
  • Manage direct reports, share objectives, set clear goals, and promote training and career growth.
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial markets, corporations, economic indicators, geo-politics, and newsmakers.
  • Skilled in digital shooting, scripting narratives, and digital video production techniques.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, managing all details of the production process.
  • Experience with editing video using social media editing tools.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to take the initiative, work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Desired Attributes:
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, or similar video and photo editing software.
  • Ability to lead small teams and effectively manage people.
  • Ability to work on location for shoots and travel as required.
