Job Opportunity:

Medical Technologist (Hematology/Biochemistry)

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist to conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests in Hematology or Biochemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of test results for patient diagnosis, as well as maintaining and operating laboratory equipment according to proper calibration and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests in Hematology or Biochemistry.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results for patient diagnosis.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety protocols.
  • Follow established quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of laboratory processes.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all hospital policies and regulations.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting technical issues related to laboratory tests and equipment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Laboratory Medicine, Biochemistry, Hematology, or a related field, as well as at least some working experience in Hematology and Biochemistry.
