Therapy Assistant

Job Description:

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy and occupational therapy services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to carry out the care plans assigned by our experienced Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in therapy services, with a minimum of 1 year of related experience. A Class 3 driving license is also a must-have for this position.

  • Carry out physiotherapy and occupational therapy care plans as assigned by our team of experts.
  • Assist clients with their daily needs, including lifting and transferring them where necessary.
  • Report any abnormalities present in clients to ensure timely intervention.
  • Record and document therapy sessions performed daily to track progress.
  • Maintain and handle rehabilitative equipment properly, reporting any faults to the relevant authorities.
  • Ensure a safe environment for clients to perform therapies, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities and programs designed to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
  • Transport clients to and from therapy sessions according to scheduled timing, if required.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Secondary school education or WSQ certificate in Therapy Services/NITEC in Therapy Services or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Holds a Class 3 driving license.
