Finance System Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the ongoing implementation of our ERP system. This role involves coordinating cross-functional meetings, refining SOPs, translating business requirements into technical documentation, and assisting with financial data migration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and be comfortable using Google Suite for documentation, scheduling, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in bi-weekly ERP meetings with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Coordinate meetings across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Marine, and Procurement departments.
  • Liaise with the accounting team to digest business requirements and translate them into technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the ERP vendor to align system configurations with SOPs and operational needs.
  • Track project deliverables and milestones using Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
SOP Development & Alignment
  • Record, refine, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on stakeholder discussions.
  • Ensure SOPs are aligned with ERP workflows, system logic, and business rules.
  • Support documentation versioning and stakeholder sign-off processes.
Historical Data Migration
  • Assist in preparing for the migration of 5 years of financial transactions into the ERP system.
  • Apply basic accounting knowledge to ensure accurate classification and data integrity.
  • Support data entry and validation once the system is ready.
Qualifications
  • 0 – 1 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, business systems coordination or accounting support.
  • A-Level, Diploma or higher with experience in Accounting, Business Information Systems, Software Development, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo – preferred, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or enterprise software projects through coursework or internships.
  • Comfortable with structured data, spreadsheets and basic SQL or Excel formulas.
  • Comfortable using Google Suite for documentation, scheduling, and collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to listen, adapt and communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to ask questions, explore root causes, and propose improvements.
