Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, executing our curriculum, and ensuring the academic success of our students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students and parents. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students
  • Executing our curriculum and ensuring that students meet their academic goals
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contributing to the development of new curriculum and educational materials

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute our curriculum and deliver lessons according to centre's teaching and curriculum standards
  • Record and input students' milestone check quizzes results into our proprietary data-analytics platform
  • Monitor and analyse class and students' learning through prompt feedback, data analysis, and grading of students' work
  • Establish and maintain relationships with students and parents; provide regular updates to parents on students' performance and progress
  • Provide support and ideas towards the improvement, planning and development of curriculum
  • Contribute actively in team meetings
  • Provide coverage for teachers who are unable to take their assigned class due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Other ad-hoc duties such as work on educational projects or events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Graduate from a local university
  • At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (preferred)
  • Familiar with the Singapore school curriculum

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of curriculum
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will work on a part-time basis, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. You will be required to work at least one weekend per month.
