Senior Risk Officer Role Summary

The Senior Risk Officer will be responsible for overseeing account approval, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance risk by monitoring the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) to ensure Private Banking account opening procedure meets Singapore regulatory requirements for high-net worth individual clients.

This role will also develop AML control strategies to optimize account opening and underwriting opportunities to support business growth while ensuring an appropriate balance between risk and return.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement AML control strategies to optimize account opening and underwriting opportunities.
  • Monitor KYC and CDD to ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee account approval process to mitigate AML and compliance risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AML risk management and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements for private banking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
