Job Title: Culinary Specialist - Food Preparation and Presentation

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team in Geylang, Eunos, Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment, preparing ingredients for use in cooking, cooking food in various utensils or grillers, and ensuring great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
  • Check quality of ingredients.
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.


Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. They should also be able to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace. In addition, they should have knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as the ability to monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary.
