Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.

This role involves designing, deploying and managing scalable and secure network architectures in the cloud. You will be responsible for implementing and managing AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, and AWS WAF.

In addition, you will integrate on-premises network infrastructure and vendor specific solutions with AWS cloud environments. Your duties will also include monitoring and optimizing network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

You will troubleshoot and resolve network issues, both in the cloud and on-premises. Implementing network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and security groups is also part of your responsibilities.

You will work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers is also expected.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of core networking experience, including routing, switching, and firewall management.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, and DNS.
  • Extensive experience with AWS networking services and architecture, familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in leading a team.
  • Experience with AWS logging, alerts, and monitoring services. Proficiency in AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, and GuardDuty for logging, alerts, and monitoring.
  • Experience with Terraform and GitHub CI/CD for provisioning services and deployment.
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is highly desirable.
  • Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
