Liko Construction Pte. Ltd. is a leading construction company seeking an experienced Construction Cost Control Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire cost control process from pre-contract to post-contract phases, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements to ensure accurate costing and minimize risks.
  • Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals and optimize project profitability.
  • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents to facilitate decision-making and project progress tracking.
  • Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies to enhance project outcomes and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets to reflect changes in project scope or requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaising with reporting superiors and project managers on costing and variation works, including final accounts with consultants.
  • Attending site meetings/site visits where necessary to monitor project progress and address any concerns.
  • Ensuring the scope of a Quantity Surveyor from pre to post-contract works (e.g., tendering to final account) is fully covered.

  • Quantity surveying expertise to review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
  • Administration skills to manage documentation and records efficiently.
  • Procurement expertise to source materials and services at the best prices.
  • AutoCAD proficiency to create detailed drawings and designs.
  • Civil engineering knowledge to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Tendering skills to prepare and submit bids effectively.
  • Pricing expertise to determine accurate costs and negotiate with clients.
  • Sourcing skills to find the best materials and services at competitive prices.
  • Cost control expertise to manage project expenses and optimize profitability.
