Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Activate Interactive Pte Ltd. As a key member of our DevOps Operation & Software Quality Assurance Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement test strategies and test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
    Design test cases and execute tests to identify and report defects.
    Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using appropriate tools and technologies such as Appium, Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, and Rest Assured.
    Conduct various tests such as Manual/Automated/Functional/Exploratory Testing/Cross-Platform Testing for the various platforms (iOS, Android, Web).
    Conduct system integration tests with external systems.
    Develop and conduct performance tests to ensure the scalability and reliability of our software applications.
    Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) and ensure that the software meets the required standards and expectations.
    Report defects and participate in defect triage sessions to ensure timely resolution of issues.
    Analyse test results and prepare test reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
    Implement and maintain the testing environment, testing framework, test plan, regression test suites, and test cases in accordance with changing requirements.
    Maintain requirement traceability matrix to ensure that the testing efforts are aligned with the project requirements.
    Support the integration of test scripts with the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline to ensure seamless deployment of software applications.
    Assist to drive product quality and Quality Assurance practices within the organisation.

Requirements:

This is a one year contract role with an estimated salary range of SGD 80,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate should have:
    Minimum 4 years' experience in conventional test engineering.
    Minimum 2-3 years' experience in automation testing scripting for web-portals and mobile applications.
    Experience working in Agile Scrum projects.
    Experience in developing automation testing scripts using languages such as Java and TypeScript.
    Proficient in programming languages including Java and TypeScript.
    Experienced with test automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, and Rest Assured.
    Skilled in using performance testing tools such as Gatling.
    Knowledge of Secure Hybrid Integration Pipeline (SHIP) and Hive Agile Testing Solutions (HATS) will be advantageous.
    Knowledge in software version control systems, code review workflows, and CICD will be advantageous.
    Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional, Certified Software Quality Analyst, and/or CREST certification will be advantageous.
