">Job Title: Server, Storage and Backup Solutioning Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Server, Storage and Backup Solutioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale server, storage, and backup solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities include providing technical pre-sales support for opportunities involving servers, storage, backup, and cloud solutions. You will engage with customers early on in the sales process, understanding their requirements and offering complete and cost-effective solutions. Your expertise will also be required to prepare solution write-ups, provide bills of materials, statements of compliance, and engage service delivery teams for professional efforts.

You will ensure the completeness of technical terms and conditions, conduct/lead technical presentations and clarifications, identify project risks (technical & execution) and provide mitigation measures. Additionally, you will integrate servers, storage, backup, and cloud-centric solutions with support from other competency presales solutions consultants.

Upon contract award, you will conduct transitions/handovers and briefings to project implementation teams on the overall solution and design. Staying up-to-date with product technology and certifications is also essential for maintaining our premium partnership status.

This role requires at least 5 years of experience in systems, storage, and cloud environments with proficiency in various operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Solaris, etc.) and virtualized platforms (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix AHV, AIX LPAR, Solaris LDOM, and Containers). Good knowledge of backup and archival solutions such as Cohesity DataProtect, Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Dell Networker/Avamar/PowerProtect, Dell Data Domain, Acronis, Arcserve, etc., is also necessary.

Good communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are highly valued in this position. Product and technology certifications like MCSE/MCITP, Backup certifications, seniority level (Mid-Senior), full-time employment type, and job function (Information Technology) are preferred but not mandatory.
