Fire Alarm Specialist

Job Summary:

The Fire Alarm Specialist/System Integrator must be a self-motivated and result-oriented professional, responsible for achieving desired results. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, understand customer specifications, and follow written and verbal directions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Construction: Installation of fire alarm systems in government, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Programming of EST/GENT Systems for efficient and effective system operation
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure optimal system performance
  • Quality control and final testing/certification to guarantee system compliance
  • Providing formal and informal training as required by installation contract or end-users

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and positive approach with a professional image
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations
  • Ability to act as company liaison for interface with customer representative(s)
  • Proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other service documents
  • Travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed
  • Work at various construction sites with required safety PPE
