System Integration Specialist

A skilled System Integration Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software and hardware systems. This includes planning, executing, and reporting on integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Integration and Qualification Planning
    • Develop and execute plans for system integration, including defining test strategies, modules, and practices.
  • Test Planning and Reporting
    • Create and conduct system test plans and reports, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the system under test.
  • Resource Management
    • Manage and optimize test resources, including staff, software, and hardware.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with system engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing durations, project risks, and defect management.
  • Defect Management
    • Identify, manage, and resolve defects in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on the project timeline.
  • Estimation and Costing
    • Contribute to the estimation, planning, and execution of IVVQ activities, including providing scope and costing for bid activities.
  • Platform Management
    • Maintain and optimize IVVQ platforms, ensuring they are functional and reliable.
  • Tool Management
    • Administer and support tools used for monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Supplier Coordination
    • Cultivate relationships with suppliers regarding services and solutions, and follow up on any issues.
  • Requirement Analysis
    • Analyze and interpret requirements, ensuring they are clearly defined and implemented correctly.
  • Test Environment Setup
    • Ensure the design and implementation of test platforms, including the necessary tools and infrastructure.

Requirements include:

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering or related field
  • 5 years of experience working in relevant field/industry
  • Strong understanding of IVVQ principles and processes
  • Experience in system integration, verification, and validation
  • Familiarity with defect management tools and workflows
  • Project management and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with relevant tools and platforms
  • Unix/Linux systems expertise
