Audiometric Technologist

Job Summary:

As an Audiometric Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the audiology team by performing hearing assessments, conducting patient-related work, and handling administrative tasks. Your expertise in audiometry and strong communication skills will enable you to provide exceptional care to patients with hearing and balance problems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hearing assessments at SGH and Community Clinics
• Conduct patient-related work, including triage, communication, and troubleshooting of hearing devices
• Assist audiologists in hearing testing of babies and young children
• Orient patients on hearing aid and cochlear implant usage after fitting
• Be involved in vestibular assessments
• Maintain daily and weekly statistics of patients seen at the audiology clinic
• Participate in logistical work related to administrative aspects of audiology, such as ordering and repairs, stock checks, and invoice verification

Requirements:

• Diploma in Health Science, Electronics, Engineering, Biomedical, or related fields
• Training will be provided on the job
• Certificate in Industrial Audiometry or prior experience in healthcare is beneficial
